Successful execution of an idea takes planning. After all, a goal without a plan is just a wish. In this session, attendees will learn that a strategic plan is not just an arbitrary formal document, but it is essential for project success. Attendees will learn the steps required to go from idea to execution, and how to create SMART Goals and action steps to accomplish those goals. Additionally, workshop participants will discover their organization’s internal assets, service refinement process, and how to understand and implement best practices after engaging in a SWOT analysis.
Attendee Take-Aways
Attendees will be able to create a one-page strategic plan which will include their project’s long-term and short-term goals. Attendees will also be able to articulate barriers that have prevented them from executing in the past, and develop an understanding of how to work through those barriers.
Attendees will also receive a unique-formatted goal sheet to complete on their own, or with their team after the workshop.
