We implement and use technology to make processes in work and daily life more automated and less complex, but the success of that technology relies heavily on people using it. This reliance requires a human-centered approach, an approach that often starts with each of us: the idea generators, developers, change agents, and future leaders.
This session is a starting point for taking a more human-centered approach – in and outside of work. It is a chance to reflect, discuss, and come to a greater understanding of the (non) technical skills we possess and how the unique application of these skills can set us apart from other job candidates, peers, and competitors. You have (non) technical skills that can and do influence job opportunities, strategy, enable collaborative development, and drive the successful implementation and adoption of technology. After attending this session you will be well equipped to identify those skills and leverage them to open up new opportunities for success.
